For about a month or so now, possibly even longer though I don't think it's been all that long, I have been chatting with two friends, D and Joe, who go to school with my best friend, Angiekins.  D, who's real name is Daniel, and I have become good friends and I was very excited to meet both D and Joe.  So, on Friday, Angiekins, D, and Joe came down to visit me at home.  They came hopping, litterally in Joe's case, in my home at 10 PM, almost two hours late.  We were going to watch Vampire Hunter D, an anime classic, but, D dropped the video and broke it (oops!).  Fortunately, Blockbuster was still open and we made the trek over there.  While there, we rented Vampire Hunter D, Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie, A Life Less Ordinary, and Army of Darkness.
We then went back to my house, and, settling in for the evening, turned off the lights in the basement, let loose my pet rabbit, and turned on Vampire Hunter D.  I must say, I enjoyed the movie.  It was a different sort of genre which I had never really explored before.  I'm eagerly awaiting my next foray into the world of Japanese animation.
After that, we watched A Life Less Ordinary, which was a cute, but seriously messed up comedy.  It's about two people who are brought together by two angels.  It's a little more complicated than that and I don't want to ruin it in any way, but, it was pretty good, if a little silly.  Let's just say the combination of Cameron Diaz and Ewan McGregor as the couple, and Holly Hunter as a psycho angel, was a bit interesting.
Shop smart- shop S-Mart!  Have to love Army of Darkness, the continuing saga of Ash and the evil dead that he must battle.  I had seen this movie before and by the time we started it at 3 AM, I was really tired, as I had gotten up at 7AM the previous morning.  Therefore, I didn't feel too incredibly bad about falling asleep during the movie.  With D cuddled up next to me, I put my head on top of his and drifted in out of consciousness, actually making comments about the movie in between periods of sleeping.  When Army of Darkness was over, we decided that, at 5 AM, it was finally time to go to bed.
Heading up to bed, after putting away the rabbit and feeding her, and dispersing blankets and pillows among the guys, who slept on the couches in my basement, Angiekins and I headed upstairs to our comfy beds.  But, before we slept, we gabbed for awhile and Angie left me a novel- The Story of O- a novel about bondage.
Later that day, about 1 PM, my mom finally woke me up.  Angie had been up for about a half an hour already.  The guys ended up sleeping until 3 PM when we woke them up.  They then headed off to Sitwell's, a local coffeehouse, to meet up with some friends.
