January 9- January 14
Well,
the roommate saga continues. Over break, I was informed by the school
that I would be getting a new roommate, Tami, who happened to live on my
street. I chatted with her a couple of times before we got back to
the dorm. Well, she partly moved in on Saturday, January 9th, though
she didn't sleep here. She moved some more stuff in the next day.
I thought things would go well with this roommate because she wasn't going
to be in the room much since she wanted to go visit her mom and has a job.
Plus, she has a strange schedule that really didn't coincide with mine.
She went partying with my suite mates a few times didn't sleep in the room
some of the times.
Last night, I got home from the Xavier vs. St. Bonaventure game (which,
we won, by the way) when Tami sort of hints and whatnot that she might
want to move in with Thea, who's roommate didn't come back after break,
because Thea was depressed and lonely. Okay, fine, whatever.
After Tami and I discussed something Megan down the hall told her, I wanted
to talk to Megan about it so that I could get all the facts straight.
Megan then informs me that Tami was going to move out without telling me
and has already filed the paperwork to move.
This time, I'm not taking offense to this move, given that the girl has
only been here for five days and we haven't really talked all that much
(besides the Sunday night late night chat session). I'm going to
just hope they don't stick me with another roommate soon or at least put
someone in here who will be willing to stay longer than a week.
