Tuesday, November 25- Sunday, November 29- Thanksgiving Break

Things during Thanksgiving Break were pretty slow for the first couple of days.  Sure, there was Thanksgiving Day, but, that was pretty boring, as we just went to Habigs', a local restaurant, and visited my uncle for awhile.
During Thanksgiving Break, my two good friends, Angie and Wirehead, broke up and a group of friends and I went to Hotel Discovery, a funky weird restaurant, and then watched Dr. Doolittle to cheer Wirehead up.   There were Sandy and Bill (my two most favorite engaged people in the world!), Shannon and Dave (my two most favorite couple in the world named Shannon and Dave!), Eric (my favorite single friend named Eric!), and my friend Wirehead (my favorite friend whom I regularly can't remember his given name!).  Hotel Discovery is an interesting place, to say the least.  I knew things were going to be weird when I walked in the door...which was fashioned like a shark's mouth.  Then, there was an elevator in the restaurant, surrounded by various squid and actual fish.  We were seated in the solar system, which people had written on in neon crayon (I wanted to write on the universe with neon crayon, too, but, damnit, I couldn't!).  I think I ate pizza of some sort, but, other's had food that I would never ever touch, such as the barbecue pizza that Eric, who was sitting next to me, had.  Wirehead sufficiently made his attempts to annoy me, which he did successfully, when he wrote on my take home box.
After dinner, which was punctuated by Eric and Dave reciting movie lines almost like they had memorized the Internet Movie Database, we went to Sandy and Bill's home where we watched Dr. Doolittle.  I especially liked the guinea pig, as they make neat little guinea pig noises.  I also liked the manic depressive tiger.  Very cool.
The next day, three people and I got together.  Missy, Angie (of the above mentioned break-up), and I are friends, but, the fourth girl there, Nicole, I despise.  So, the day was followed by me popping some Aleve to get rid of the headache I had after listening to her.  We shopped a little and had lunch at LaRosa's.
That was about the extent of my Thanksgiving Break.
